Carrie Underwood's hubby got a little more than he bargained for this weekend, when he tried to save the day and remove the rascal, which had found its way into their home.
"A squirrel got into our house," Carrie said in a clip she posted on Vine Saturday, with Mike correcting her saying the animal in question was "a chipmunk."
The video showed the hockey star grabbing the chipmunk with his bare hand to take it outside, and after it started squealing, Carrie said, "Don't hurt it."
She should've been talking to the squirrel.
Minutes later, Carrie posted a follow-up video on Vine that showed two red bike marks on Mike's hand while they were in the car (hopefully on the way to the hospital).
"Newfound respect for the mighty chipmunk," he quipped.
"The chipmunk is back outside where it belongs! :) Chipmunk -1, @mikefisher1212 's hand -0," Carrie tweeted.
