Before his sudden death, Cory had reportedly been planning a sweet birthday surprise for Lea.
"She didn't know what," a source told UsWeekly. "But she thought it could be a party and possibly a trip somewhere."
Sadly, that obviously didn't happen but it seems like Lea is doing well since Cory's death. She's gotten back to work filming Glee and made her first public appearance at the Teen Choice Awards, where she won an award and gave a tearful tribute to her late boyfriend.
We're so glad Lea is staying strong and we wish her the happiest of birthdays!
