Lady Gaga seems to be going with an ocean theme for her 'ARTPOP' era attire. The singer performed at the VMAs wearing seashells and has encouraged fans to wear sea-themed attire to her concert, but...Lady Gaga is definitely going for an aquatic theme with her 'ARTPOP'-era attire.
The singer performed at the VMAs wearing seashells, she was seen wearing the same ocean-themed accessory in her hair in London yesterday and she has encouraged fans to wear seashells, seahorses and/or starfish to her Swine Fest concert.
Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be sitting well with Azealia Banks, who apparently feels that Gaga stole the idea from her.
After Gaga tweeted the fishy fashion ideas to her fans, Azealia responded with "@ladygaga hmmmm sounds alot like Azealia Banks' mermaid balls," then posting her own status updates, saying "Of COURSE gaga wants to play mermaid again..... Pffft" and "Not picking a fight. Just looks soo familiar.... To me."
Gaga didn't respond directly to the provocation, but she did tweet a GIF that definitely got her point across.
Point taken.
