Kendall Schmidt of 'Big Time Rush' hit up the red carpet premiere of One Direction's 'This Is Us' in NYC. He was invited by his friend 1D's Niall Horan and chatted about the boys' new movie.It is crazy to think that it has been about a year and a half since One Direction went on tour and opened for Big Time Rush, but it's nice to know that the two boy bands are still friends.We caught up with Kendall Schmidt of Big Time Rush at the 1D boys' premiere of This is Us in NYC.
Kendall told us about the craziness that surrounds 1D and being friends with Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan. "Honestly, Niall has always been really cool to me and has always kept in touch. He invited me to come [to the This is Us premiere], so I am here," Kendall said. Remarkably, Kendall said he was looking forward to seeing the One Direction performance in the film because "I've actually never seen [this] show, and so yeah I'll get to see some of their performances." He clarified, "Besides the one when we went on tour together--I saw those shows--but the show now is a whole different show than it was back then."
