Earlier this week, Kanye West revealed a photo of his daughter North West, who girlfriend Kim Kardashian gave birth to in June. While the world was waiting for a big magazine cover reveal...Everyone was pretty shocked when the news leaked that Kanye West revealed the first photo of baby North West on Kris Jenner's talk show.
Considering that he and Kim Kardashian had reportedly received multi-million dollar offers for the first photo of their daughter, it seemed strange that he would just release the photo for free on the talk show.
According to E! News, an audience member told them that Kanye "talked to Kris for an hour. He said he had decided he wanted to show the picture of North because they didn't want to make money on the photo and he is fed up of paps following him around."
Still, they managed to keep the reveal a secret (even to the audience) until the very last second. "They didn't even tell us Kanye was coming on until we were on the set," their source said. "They only showed it for a second. They took everyone's phones away so no one could snap a picture."
Given that Kanye was reportedly pushing for a reveal on social media while Kim wanted something much bigger, this does seem like the perfect compromise.
