Lady Gaga premiered the video for her new single 'Applause' on 'Good Morning America' yesterday and while the video itself was pretty amazing, it was Gaga's dress that got a lot of people talking.Lady Gaga is always full of surprises when it comes to fashion.She's worn a balloon dress, a Kermit the Frog dress and of course, the infamous meat dress--just to name a few.
For her appearance on Good Morning America this week, however, she decided to mix it up a little bit.
As far as her hair and makeup were concerned, Gaga definitely had a glam thing going on, but as far as her dress was concerned, well...that was a different story.
"It's paper," the designer Mathieu Mirano revealed in an interview with ABC News. The dress, the bra, the gloves---it was all paper. But, most surprisingly, "she was even wearing paper panties," he explained.
Wow, that doesn't sound comfortable! But, how did they keep it from ripping?
"We found that there was a special strong paper that we really wanted to use and that worked best for the ensemble," he said. "You actually can't rip this paper."
The 22-year-old fashion designer is also the brains behind some of the amazing ensembles in the "Applause" video.
