Liam Payne is slamming the 1D special 'Crazy About One Direction' and putting fans' minds at ease. Directioners were understandably angry over the documentary, which showed the most fanatic of the fandom. Read what Liam tweeted.
What did the One Direction guys think of the fan frenzy depicted in the special Crazy About One Direction?
Liam Payne, for one, wasn't impressed.
Twitter blew up when the documentary Crazy About One Direction aired on August 15, with fans rightfully upset that their fandom was not accurately represented.
The hashtag #ThisIsNotUs became a trending topic, as fans got increasingly annoyed with the way the special showed the most overzealous of Directioners.
Liam took to Twitter to smooth things out and let fans know what One Direction thinks of them and all they do.
Bottom line? Liam put fans' minds at ease and reassured them that they are such a huge part of 1D's success.
Liam initially tweeted: "Not really sure what's going on right now I just hope everyone's ok xxx," adding, "Hearing some horrible things...Really hope this isn't true."
He tweeted about the importance of fans, writing, "Just so all of you know we love you guys and we know how dedicated you are and tbh we can't believe it that you gus spend all you time on us."
He continued, "We couldn't give a f**k what any documentary says there dramatised for entertainment and full of bulls**t anyway we all know...How hard you work for us and see it everyday at our shows, Let's all take a step back and think about what we/you have all achieved... You should be proud."
Good man, that Liam.
