Nina Dobrev is taking her time before jumping into another relationship. The Vampire Diaries star said she's looking forward to having some time to herself post-split from Ian Somerhalder.Nina Dobrev isn't in a hurry to find a new beau.The24-year-old Vampire Diaries star told US Weekly she's taking time for herself following her split from Ian Somerhalder in May.
"I've been a relationship girl and I've been in long-term relationships my whole life until this point, so I think I'm looking forward to spending some time with myself and finding myself again," she told the mag. "I'm just discovering different sides of me and growing and then I'll figure out what I like in a man when I see it."
That might have been one of the reasons for the spur-of-the-moment vacay around the world Nina took with her brother Alex and other friends this summer.
Nina went on to say she and Ian have no hard feelings towards each other post-break-up, adding, "It's all about finding out what meshes and what doesn't, and what you like and what you don't."
"Life is about experiences, so I guess I'm just figuring that out."
The couple called it quits after more than three years together, with both co-stars keeping mum about the reason behind their split.
