Lady Gaga recorded a duet with Cher that she never wanted to be heard by the public. Unfortunately for Gaga, the song has now been leaked online.Poor Lady Gaga just can't get a break.
After having to release her new song "Applause" early because it was leaked online, she is now dealing with a second leak--of a duet with Cher that she NEVER wanted the public to hear.
In a recent interview, Cher said she thought the song was "brilliant," but was respecting Gaga's wishes that it not be released. "It's done & she (Gaga) doesn't like it, or want it to come out. She's an artist, it's up to her. I'm disappointed 2," she tweeted, when fans asked her about the song.
Unfortunately, neither Gaga or Cher had any control over the leak that was just released online today.
The song, which more prominently features Cher, is called "The Greatest" and is actually really, really good.
Cher was furious when she heard about the leak, tweeting, "Just heard TGT ! F--K ! IT'S NOT EVEN THE RIGHT F--KING VERSION!!! WHY DO PPL THINK THIS KINDA LEAKING SH*T IS OK ! I'm so Fg DISSAPOINTED."
A few minutes later, she tweeted about it again, saying, "Disappointed( Ive Sat on f*ng song 4 over a yr )NOW SOME A--HOLE LEAKS WRONG VERSION ! GaGa's SINGLE IS GREAT, & THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS."
Gaga has not yet tweeted about the leak, but did say in a radio interview this morning that they found the hacker who leaked "Applause" and anyone who leaks any other songs is going to jail.
While Cher says this is the "wrong" version of the song, it's still sounds pretty good to us.
