Britney Spears is gearing up for her new show in Las Vegas, where she will be performing at Planet Hollywood, but now she is reportedly venturing into the restaurant business as well, as co-owner of a Las Vegas pizza place.Britney Spears may be gearing up for her two-year residency in Las Vegas, but it looks like she'll be doing much more than just performing while she's there!The pop star is reportedly now the co-owner of a Las Vegas eatery called the Meatball Spot, which is currently located inside Town Square, but will soon be relocating to inside Planet Hollywood, where Britney's show will be.
Britney and boyfriend David Lucado were spotted eating at the restaurant back in March, where she reportedly dined on meatball sliders and homemade mac and cheese, complete with a bananas foster ice cream for dessert.
Britney's involvement with the restaurant comes immediately on the heels of Top Chef contestant Carla Pellegrino cut ties with the eatery, although she says it was done amicably and she had simply fulfilled her contract and wanted to pursue other projects.
No word yet on whether or not Britney will be changing the menu, but the Meatball Spot currently offers six different kinds of meatballs, a variety of pizza, sandwiches and salads as well as gelato and a variety of other desserts.
Britney's first restaurant venture in 2002 didn't go all that well, with the restaurant closing after only five months, so we're hoping BritBrit has better luck this time!
