Malala Yousafzai was critically injured by the Taliban after she tried to take a stand on female education publicly and wasn't afraid to talk about her approval of U.S. President Barack Obama.
On October 9, the Taliban attempted to assassinate Malala on her way home from school. Shooting her twice in the head, she is currently in critical condition at a hospital in England.
Last week Selena went to Facebook and changed her profile pic to a photo of Malala. With the pic is a quote from her saying, "All I want is an education. And I'm afraid of no one."
How inspiring and strong for such a young lady!
Selena posted a message with Malala's photo that said, "Please honor Malala Yousafzai by spreading her message of children's right to an education," along with a link to the UNICEF website, an organization that Selena is very involved with.
