One Direction fans are angry about the recent 1D British GQ magazine cover and interview. Find out why Directioners are so upset about Harry Styles' cover and interview, which includes a rundown of the number of girls he's had sex with.
One Direction fans weren't too happy with the new 1D British GQ covers and interviews.In fact, there was a lot of hate flying from the Directioner fandom.
UK's GQ magazine website even posted some of the worst responses to their recent coverage of One Direction, writing, "While most were positive, and some less so, a few frankly had us fearing for our lives."
The mag added, "Although the issue doesn't even go on sale until Thursday, a lot of the band's fan base took issue with certain cover lines, in particular one on Harry Styles' cover, 'He's Up All Night To Get Lucky.' It just goes to show: hell hath no fury like a Directioner scorned."
True enough.
The biggest issue was with how Harry was portrayed as a "man whore."
In the interview with Harry, the writer pressed to get a definitive number of how many girls he's had sex with.
Harry responded, "I know the number of people I've slept with, yes. "
As for a specific number, he said, "I'm definitely not telling you!"
The interviewer tried to get a ballpark number and while Harry said, "no" to "less than 100," when asked, "So higher than 100?," Harry responded, "No, it's definitely less than 100."
In fact, Harry said it's "lower than 50," but he refused to pin the number when asked "Lower than 30?"
Finally, when asked, "OK, less than 10," Harry said, "Yes. Two people. I've only ever had sex with two people. "
Comments directed at GQ included: "HARRYS COVER SAYS HE UP ALL NIGHT TO GET LUCKY. @BritishGQ YOURE MAKING HIM SOUND LIKE A WHORE. HES NOT A FUCKING WHORE YOU STUPID C***S.
