Katy Perry is on the cover of the September issue of 'Elle UK' and inside, she opened up about her rumored romance with Robert Pattinson and her friendship with Rihanna. Katy Perry is a hot commodity in the cover girl department. First, she covered the July issue of Vogue and now she is Elle UK's September cover girl!
In the Elle UK interview, Katy opened up about the rumored romance between her and Twilight star Robert Pattinson, who was dating Kristen Stewart up until recently.
While many tabloids suggested that Katy was secretly spending time with Rob behind Kristen's back, Katy nipped the nasty rumors in the bud, sending a text message to Rob's then-girlfriend to explain herself.
"I sent [Kristen] a text message saying, 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t**s,'" she explained.
Also in the interview, Katy opened up about her friendship with fellow singer, Rihanna, saying, "I love her and every time I see her, I'm reminded of the light that she has."
But, it sounds like Katy knows that some things are beyond her control, even when it comes to helping her famous friend. "There's a lot of dark in this business," she says. "I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages - they are the root of their demise. It's really unfortunate but you can't save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over."
Hmm...Sounds like Katy is a little bit frustrated with RiRi.
