Kim Kardashian, along with many other celebrities, posted her reaction to the George Zimmerman case on Twitter. But, Kim's comment seemed to set a lot of fans off. Find out why. When the George Zimmerman verdict was announced on Saturday, celebs immediately took to their Twitter pages to share their outrage.Kim Kardashian was one of those who expressed her anger on the social media site.
"My heart goes out to Trayvon Martin's family & loved ones. Thought & prayers being sent their way #NoJustice," she wrote, shortly after the verdict was read.
The original message probably would have been fine, but it was the hashtag that set some of her fans off.
Given that the anger is over people feeling like George Zimmerman "got away with murder," comparisons were immediately drawn to the OJ Simpson case, where many people had a similar sentiment.
That being the case, it was a little ironic that Kim wrote what she did given that her father Robert Kardashian was an integral part of OJ's defense team.
"Didn't your dad help OJ Simpson get away with murder?" one user tweeted to Kim, while others wrote things like, "Didn't your dad defend a murderer?" and "How ironic. Remember when your father helped OJ Simpson walk free? No Justice there either."
Another went even further with it, writing, "You are famous because your dad made a murderer go free and you made a sex tape. You are why there's no justice in the world."
As we write this, angry comments are still being posted in response to Kim's statement, but we want to know what you think.
Are you angry that Kim said that given that her father defended OJ Simpson?
