Oops! The "Call Me Maybe" singer fumbles the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game on national television...see the awkward moment for yourselfJust call her clumsy!
"Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen was chosen to throw out the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game on Sunday and she didn't do so well.
The 27-year-old threw a completely foul ball that didn't even cross home plate and it was all caught on camera. Some commentators even called it a contender for the "worst ever first pitch"...ouch!
At least the Canadian crooner had a sense of humor about her unfortunate aim.
"So apparently I made ESPN with my fail of a pitch," she Tweeted. "LOL - Daddy must be so proud."
She also shared a screenshot of a text from her brother, Colin, teasing her post-pitch. "Just saw it. May be ranked. In sports shows top ten list. Oh well #sticktoyourdayjob," he texted her afterwards.
Luckily, you don't have to be good at throwing to sing!
