There is a big shake up for the fifth season of 'Glee.' Five cast members will no longer be season regulars. The good news: Despite rumors to the contrary, Sue Sylvester and Blaine Anderson will be back!
It's inevitable that McKinley High students will grow up and graduate one day, but it now looks like a handful won't be returning to Glee for the fifth season. While some original cast members are moving on, other newer additions will become season regulars.

Four original Glee students, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr. and Amber Riley will not be returning as series regulars on Glee's upcoming fifth season, which premieres on Sept. 19. Neither will Jayma Mays (Emma), who plays Mr. Shue's (Matthew Morrison) new bride. She has recently signed on to a new CBS comedy, The Millers. Could this be an indication of some marriage difficulties for the newlyweds or does this storyline take a backseat so Jayma can see if her new show is a hit?

Also, according to Ryan Murphy, Glee's 5th season will now only have two primary locations: New York City and Lima, Ohio. Artie (Kevin McHale) will join Santana (Naya Rivera) along with Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) in the big apple.

Despite the sad news about the five Glee stars who won't be returning, the good news according to E! News is that no one else is leaving the show. In fact E! is reporting that Matthew Morrison is staying put as a regular for season five along with Jane Lynch, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss and Jenna Ushkowitz. To round out the cast, Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist, Becca Tobin, Blake Jenner and Alex Newell will become series regulars.
