Chris Brown has been charged with hit-and-run and driving without a valid license after he failed to hand his license over to a woman following a fender bender and gave her the incorrect insurance information.Well, it looks like Chris Brown has landed on the wrong side of the law...again.The R&B star had a fender bender while cruising with girlfriend Karrueche Tran last month and now it looks like that little accident could cause him a big problem.
After the incident, Chris, Karrueche and the other driver seemed to be working things out amicably...that is, until Chris refused to hand over his driver's license and provided incorrect insurance information to her.
Given that he failed to provide that information, Chris is now being charged with hit and run, TMZ is reporting.
The L.A. City Attorney has just filed two charges against the singer for hit and run and driving without a valid license-each crime carrying a possible six months in jail.
Unfortunately for Chris, who is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, this could possibly be considered a probation violation, which could put him behind bars for four years.
For his part, Chris has taken to his Twitter to try to defend himself against the allegations, posting a picture of the woman's car (with the license plate visible) and writing the following:
Do you think Chris should be punished for what he did or do you think the woman is overreacting?
