There's so many people in the world who want to meet One Direction... that even the Internet can't handle it!
One Direction tweeted yesterday that they had a huge announcement for their fans. While anticipation killed us all, Niall Horan finally tweeted the big news this morning! But... it ended with a major, epic fail.
Niall introduced a contest where 1D fans can win a trip to meet the band in New York City! But, at the end of his tweet, a link that was to lead to more contest info, totally didn't work!
Figuring the contest URL had a typo or something in it, many 1D fans starting freaking out because the link didn't work (including us!). Finally, the One Direction official Twitter site tweeted that the "Bring Me to 1D!" website crashed due to the huge website traffic. In other words, we crashed the site 1D fans!
Guys, if you'd like to win a chance to come andmeet us in NYC u need to win a Go1Den ticket!

What's even better (NOT!) is that after a three hour wait, the 1D peeps finally tweeted again basically saying the contest is back in action...but this time, the link DID have a typo in it AND the corrected link still didn't work!

We aren't sure what's going on with the contest or the website right now but as soon as we find out we'll let you guys know!
From the Twitter info given so far, you will apparently be able to get information about the new contest at www.bringmeto1d.com as soon as the website can handle all of us fans!
So quit freaking out! It's not YOU or your computer that's causing the problem!
