Catelynn and Tyler are obviously the youngest of the bunch, but they are arguably the most mature.
When the couple meets Flavor Flav for the first time, Flav tells them that they deprived their daughter Carly of more than they gave her when they placed her up for adoption.
Instead of getting angry, Catelynn and Tyler take it all in stride, with Catelynn telling him that she sees his point and Tyler keeping quiet about the whole thing before saying in the confessional that he hears stuff like that all the time and thinks it just comes from a place of misunderstanding.
Later in the show, Catelynn and Tyler actually come to Flavor's aid when he is upset that his fiancé won't participate in the group bowling outing and becomes very upset with him.
Catelynn tells Flav not to let her get him down and Tyler spends some time explaining to Flav that during fights like this, someone has to be the adult.
It seems crazy to us that Catelynn and Tyler look like they're going to be the pillars of stability on the show because they are so young, but after having watched them on Teen Mom, it isn't all that surprising.
In all honesty, if it weren't for Catelynn and Tyler, we're not sure we'd be too terribly interested in the show, but they're so captivating, we're going to keep tuning in just to see them.
Do you think Catelynn and Tyler make this show worth watching?
