The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will be at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 19 and a lot of our favorites are not only nominated but are set to perform too.
One of the toughest throwdowns at the awards show this year will definitely be for Top New Artist where One Direction, Gotye, Carly Rae Jepsen, Psy and The Lumineers are all up for the win. Although, we already think we know who is going to take home the award... (Ahem, 1D!)
The winners at the BMAs are based on album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, VEVO, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music.
The show also has some awesome performances up its sleeve! Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj and more are set to do their thing on stage that night.
