%VIRTUAL-Gallery-182988%It was a very emotional night at Idol.
The final four girls have been fighting hard for the top 3 spots for the past two weeks. And Thursday night we found out who made it and who fell short.
Making the top 3 first was Angie Miller, followed by Candice Glover. Filling the third spot was Kree Harrison. That left Amber Holcomb with the lowest number of votes, as this week's eliminated finalist.
Amber had a difficult time with the results. "It was the 'Gone' video! It gets me every time for every person," she told us about her breaking down onstage. "And seeing me was all, 'Oh, crap.'"
But the judges had words of encouragement for her. "They all said it's just the beginning," Amber told us. One judge has been rooting for her since day one. "She's my cheerleader," she said about Nicki Minaj. "She even said last week, 'If you go home, you're going to have people beating down your door. You have nothing to worry about.' She believes in me."
Amber believes in herself as well and has high hopes for her future collaborations. "I would love to work with Rihanna, Miguel, Frank Ocean, Nicki," she said. "Maybe if I could even open for them."
She might not be opening for any of them this summer, but she will be hitting the road. "I'm ready to go on tour and just perform with everybody!" she said about Idol's upcoming summer tour. "They said we have to be in shape," Amber told us, but "I suck at working out by myself. I'm going to let the tour be my trainer."
Does all this success mean Amber will be moving out to Hollywood soon? "I love LA! I wouldn't mind being out here," the Texas native told us. But she might have to hold that thought. "That's something I have to talk to my mom about. She's a big baby."
We're sad to see Amber go, but we're sure this is not the last we'll hear from her!
