Ariana Grande Twitter
Gorgeous.
Ariana tweeted: "New video! Surprise love you"
In the video description, she wrote: "Posted a video of me singing this in my bedroom and a lot of you asked me to make a version with better audio quality so here you go. Tribute to Whitney. I love you."
This morning she tweeted, "Morning. So glad you liked your surprise. This is the second song I am singing at Wango Tango."
Ariana is drawing comparisons to Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Selena Gomez, but she tells OMG!, "I don't really see [the comparison to Selena]. We both started out in children's television, I think we share that in common and we are both doing music. But we are really nothing alike but if you look at us and compare our sounds we aren't that much alike."
She added, "She has been incredibly successful thus far in her career and I will feel lucky if I am just as successful."
As for Mariah and Whitney, she tells Digital Spy: ""[Mariah's] an inspiration--she's the greatest female vocalist, so it was definitely a compliment. Mariah and Whitney Houston were my goddesses growing up."
We love Ariana's sound and definitely are hearing shades of Mariah and Whitney. Can't wait to hear more!
