Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is notorious for her angry outbursts.One of them, where she screamed at and punched then-boyfriend (and baby daddy) Gary Shirley was caught on camera by MTV and resulted in Amber being charged with two counts of felony domestic battery.
Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of Amber's legal woes.
In June 2012, the Teen Mom star was sentenced to five years in jail after she failed to complete court-ordered rehab stemming from a drug arrest that had occurred six months prior.
Although Gary (who currently has custody of Leah) said that Amber hasn't seen her daughter in a year because of some complications with the paperwork, Amber is still making huge strides during her prison sentence.
The most shocking (and ironic), perhaps, is that Amber is now teaching anger management classes.
Gary tweeted the much-anticipated update to fans on Sunday and Amber's brother Shawn Portwood recently posted on his blog that Amber's newfound ability to control her anger is the biggest difference he's seen in her so far.
Sounds like Amber has definitely become a model inmate...maybe she'll even get out early for good behavior?
