Selena Gomez's latest film Spring Breakers may have just arrived at the box office, but that doesn't mean Selena is ready to take a break.
It was just announced by Deadline that Selena will be joining the cast of William H. Macy's, Rudderless. This will be William's directorial debut, but with actors like Selena, Anton Yelchin, Laurence Fishburne, Felicity Huffman and Billy Crudup rounding out the cast, we think he'll do just fine.
Rudderless is a musical drama about a grieving father who finds his deceased son's songs and decides to form a band in hopes of finding peace. The movie is set to begin filming this month in Oklahoma.
It sounds like it's a different maturity level compared to Spring Breakers, but we're excited to hear more about Selena's character! Our fingers are crossed that she'll have a singing part!
