With Katy Perry and John Mayer just having split, one might wonder if the eccentric pop star might consider rekindling her romance with Russell Brand.
We think it's pretty safe to say all signs definitely point to "no" on that one.
While the couple had nothing but nice things to say about each other in the immediate aftermath of their split, it seems that both sides suddenly have more to say.
And, as it turns out, both halves of the former couple are rumored to be writing tell-all books so their side of the story can be heard.
But, it looks like we don't have to wait for Russell to write his book to find out what he really thought about his 14-month marriage to Katy.
In an interview with Noel Gallagher on XFM, the comedian confessed that the marriage was "shaky from the get-go," calling the whole thing "a drag."
Brand also had some advice for his fans, "Let me tell you a thing about marriage: Marriage is a bond that can last up to 14 months. This is a sacred 14-month arrangement - Begins on an elephant, ends in a newspaper."
Of course, he's referring to their wedding in India, where Russell rode in on an elephant to meet his blushing bride.
