Why did Louis decide on the high-security panic room? He was looking for some extra protection from extra crazy fans...

We're not talking about the screaming young girls that are infatuated with Louis--rather those who have made death threats to his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder.

A source tells The Sun, "Louis loves the fans and isn't overwhelmed with paranoia. He's just a realist about the dangers of being in the spotlight. One Direction followers are notorious for tracking the lads down, so that's made him a bit cautious."

The source added, "This is just something that makes him feel safe."

Hey, if you can afford it, why not? Zayn Malik reportedly also has a panic room in his house.
