Watch Jennifer Lawrence fall at the Oscars 2013 in this video of her acceptance speech.Jennifer's name was called for the Best Actress award at the Oscars and as she took to the stage to accept her trophy, she fell walking up the stairs!
Aw, we felt so bad for her!
As with everything Jennifer does, she handled it like an absolute pro (and Hugh Jackman dashed to help her too--not too shabby!).
The audience gave Jennifer a standing ovation, as she opened her Oscars acceptance speech by saying, "You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell...and that's really embarrassing, but thank you."
Backstage, Jennifer explained the reasons she fell: "What do you mean, what happened? Look at my dress. I tried to walk up stairs in this dress. That's what happened. I think I just stepped on the fabric and they waxed the stairs."
