Here's a question for you: Is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong a drunk and a bad mother?

That's what many viewers believed after watching this week's episode. In a bizarre phone call to Kim and Kyle Richards, the tipsy widow revealed she had "no idea" Kyle was babysitting her daughter. Then she asked the brunette Housewife to keep Kennedy for a few extra days, as she was jetting off to Beaver Creek with a man she'd just fallen in love with.

But "things were not as they seemed," Taylor tweeted during the episode's airing, with Kyle also providing clarification: "Taylor had arranged to have Kennedy taken to her Mom's to stay. Then the nanny left her with me w/out asking."

In a blog for Bravo, Taylor explained that she considers Kyle a "second mom to Kennedy" and her nanny "knew I would have complete confidence having Kennedy with Kyle and family"--she just failed to update her employer when Kyle volunteered to take Kennedy.

"I was shocked on the phone to hear Kennedy was at Kim's because that was not the specific instruction and plan we had for the weekend," Taylor continued. "I take my responsibility for Kennedy more seriously than anything. Kyle knows this well, and I am hurt she didn't communicate this and the facts of the evening when the girls were discussing it at the table at Kim's."

"I'm so tired of friends not standing up and supporting one another when they know the truth," griped the blond beauty, who's also fallen out with Season 3 "villain" Adrienne Maloof.

"I am furious she sat there at the table and didn't say a thing to support me or defend me," she said about Adrienne, whom she later confronted at Kyle's White Party. "Maybe Kyle should change the name of the White Party to the Dark Party," she cracked about the latest battle between the Adrienne and Brandi Glanville.

"As for my being 'tipsy' when I phoned, I was," confirmed Taylor. "My friend, business advisor (and ultimately my boyfriend), John [Bluher] ... and I had just resolved yet another of the challenges I had been left with and we decided it was worthy of a champagne toast (or two)."

"We've been together since this episode," Taylor tweeted Monday about Bluher, who has previously appeared on RHOBH. "Kennedy has a male role model and 2 people to love her!" she added, with a picture of the happy trio.

(Taylor's allegedly abusive husband, Russell Armstrong, committed suicide in August 2011.)

In response to rumors that she was being axed from Real Housewives, Taylor wrote: "I am happier and healthier than ever," but noted sourly, "Happiness doesn't sell unfortunately."

But she still maintains she hasn't been fired. "Let me set this straight. RHOBH has not been picked up for season 4 yet. No decisions regarding the cast have been made, period," she said Tuesday, adding, "The cast speculation happens every season in every city. All hype."

Whether or not she's seen in Season 4, Taylor, whom the newly sober Kim suspects has a "drinking problem," is clearly the star of next week's episode.

"Kim decides she is now Dr. Drew!" quips Taylor in her blog.
