Most young men celebrate their big 2-2 by partying with friends and getting sloppy. But not Grammy-nominated singer Ed Sheeran!
Ed, also known to his dedicated fans as "Ginger Jesus," celebrated his 22nd birthday last night by playing his biggest USA headlining shout the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles! The sold-out show was all costume-themed, as Ed wanted to celebrate his b-day in style and encouraged his fans to dress for the occasion.
Sheeran took the stage sporting a pirate outfit to high-pitched screams from the 7,000+ people in the audience, consisting mostly of teenage girls and their parents.
The birthday boy was able to quiet the auditorium for soft pieces like the "The Wayfaring Stranger," but wasn't able to control the screams during his hit songs like "Drunk" and "Give Me Love."
Sheeran's vocals were on-point and there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd before he closed with his hit song "A-Team."
