We Love Pop
Who would have thought they had it in them?
Niall Horan talked about the pop star escapade in We Love Pop magazine (via DailyMail), explaining that the 1D lads celebrated turning 18 by taking a trip to a casino.
They gambled quite a bit of money and management wasn't happy with the guys, as Niall explained, "Like most of the stupid things we do, it seemed like it was a good idea at the time. We just thought, 'We're 18, this is the first time we've been able to spend a bit of money in weeks because we've been on the road.'"
Niall added, "I won £100, which seemed reasonable, then I stopped. But I'll have to say, 'No comment' about the others."
Sounds like some of the guys got in a little too deep and lost a fair amount!
Niall said, "Let's just say it got a bit ugly and a lot of money was lost. A lot. When our management found out, we got a serious dressing-down about it."
We have to wonder if they've stopped gambling after getting in trouble with management!
