At the Olympics, all eyes have been on the teenage gymnasts competing on the US women's team. The girls--Jordyn Wieber, Gabrielle Douglas, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney--have been dubbed "the fab five" and even graced the cover of Sports Illustrated before even setting foot in London.
Jordyn is the reigning world champion and after last night's qualifying rounds, she was the favorite and one that was expected to advance to the all-around competition tomorrow night.
Unfortunately, only two competitors from each country can move ahead.
Gabrielle and Aly scored higher than Jordyn so they're the only ones from Team USA allowed to compete in the all-around.
Needless to say, Jordyn was devastated. She's also known Aly and competed with her--considering her a best friend--since they were kids.
Can you relate to this bittersweet loss? Jordyn is so happy for her friend and teammate--but understandably disappointed too.
