Grammy week is finally here!
To kick things off, Cambio hit the red carpet with former GRAMMY camper, 15-year-old Allison Spice at last night's GRAMMY Foundation's "Play It Forward: A Celebration Of Music's Evolution And Influencers."
Speaking of influencers, Ed Sheeran eloquently shared his thoughts. "I think everyone needs to have influences," he said. "Music that is a little bit older and a bit more original."
Added Vice President of the GRAMMY Foundation, Scott Goldman, "It's vitally important that one generation passes their musical sense to the next generation."
But on to the question on everyone's minds. Who's going to take home the Grammy for Song of the Year? The opinion was divided on the red carpet. Looks like it's going to be a tight race.
"I happen to like Ed Sheeran," said Scott. "But I'm feeling the Fun thing. You can't get the Fun song ["We Are Young"] out of your head. Once it's there, it's there forever."
Jessica Sutta's vote goes to "Call Me Maybe," another tune that got stuck on a loop in our brains. But Yolanda Adams is pretty sure that Kelly Clarkson's chances are "Stronger" than Carly Rae Jepsen's.
Who are you guys feeling for Song of the Year? Vote in our poll now!
(To apply for this summer's GRAMMY Camp, check out the Grammy in the Schools website. But don't wait. The deadline to apply is March 31.)
